Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history, physical examination, and review of symptoms.
  • Diagnose and treat acute and chronic Dermatologic diseases and conditions.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as laboratory tests and imaging studies.
  • Prescribe medications and other treatments based on patient need.
  • Provide counseling and education to patients on preventive care, health promotion, and disease management.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure continuity of care.
  • Document patient encounters, including assessments, diagnoses, treatments, and follow-up plans in electronic medical record systems.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) with a specialization in dermatology or a related field.
  • Valid Nurse Practitioner license in any state.
  • 2 years of strong clinical knowledge and skills in Medical Dermatology.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a healthcare team.
  • Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems for documentation and data management.
