Full-time/Part-time Dermatology Nurse Practitioner Wanted at Gleam Skin Wellness Center in Kansas City, KS
Gleam Skin Wellness Center is offering the most advanced treatments for acne, skin cancer, rashes and skin growths, cosmetic injectables and laser treatments.
We are looking for skilled individuals to join our growing team. We are a Dermatology group that is looking to expand and we are seeking a Nurse Practitioner who is dedicated to dermatology, compassionate with patients, hardworking and driven individual to compliment the company's culture.
Responsibilities:
- Practices within the scope designated by supervising physician.
- Ability to work independently, but knowing when to consult supervising physician.
- Should eventually be comfortable seeing 30+ patients per day while documenting in EMA, our Electronic Health Record.
- Provides necessary direction to clinic staff.
Qualifications:
- Qualified candidates should have at least 1-2 years of dermatology experience.
- Active Nurse Practitioner state license.
- Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) with a specialization in dermatology or a related field.
- Board certification as a Dermatology Nurse Practitioner (DNP-BC) or equivalent.
- Proficiency in performing dermatological procedures such as biopsies, excisions, and cryotherapy.
- Strong knowledge of dermatology treatments, skin conditions, and related medical terminology.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with patients and medical staff.
- Familiarity with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, particularly experience with documenting in EMA.
- Demonstrated ability to provide patient-centered care and educate patients on skin health and treatment plans.
- Commitment to maintaining up-to-date knowledge of advancements in dermatological practices and technologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make independent clinical judgments.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.
- Willingness to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of medical professionals.
- Professional demeanor, compassion, and empathy when dealing with patients and their concerns.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a high patient load.
- Flexibility in adapting to changing clinic needs and schedules.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Salary:
$125,000 - $190,000 per year
