Full-time/Part-time Dermatology Nurse Practitioner Wanted Luminous Curve MedSpa in Houston, TX

We are looking for a Nurse Practitioner specializing in Dermatology with at least 2 years of experience in Dermatology and dermatologic surgery. Ideal candidate would have experience and passion for medical and surgical dermatology. Must have excellent surgical skills, knowledge of flaps, tissue transfers and complex closures as well as good bedside manner. You will be working alongside a Board-Certified Dermatologists. Nurse Practitioner with Plastic Surgery experience are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform physical examinations and assessments of patients.
  • Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to identify and assess patient's clinical problems and health care needs.
  • Prescribe medications and treatments for dermatological conditions.
  • Provide patient education on skin care, prevention, and treatment of skin diseases.
  • Refer patients to specialists when necessary.
  • Document patient care in the medical record.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) with a specialization in dermatology or a related field.
  • Valid Nurse Practitioner license in any state.
  • 2 years of experience in Medical Dermatology.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a healthcare team.
  • Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems for documentation and data management.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary:

$140,000 - $150,000 per year
