Purpose Statement/Position Summary: The Nurse Practitioner provides nursing and medical services to patients, emphasizing health promotion and disease prevention, as well as the diagnosis and management of acute and chronic diseases. The FULL-TIME functions under established standardized protocols and works autonomously as well as in collaboration with other health care professionals to diagnose and manage client’s health care needs.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
  • Current certification as a Nurse Practitioner.
  • Active state Nursing license.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of clinical experience, preferably in community health or public health settings.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Commitment to social justice, health equity, and advocating for vulnerable communities.
