Looking for Nurse Practitioner in Arboretum Medical Care Services

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner to join our comprehensive Primary and Specialty care team. The ideal candidate will provide primary healthcare services to patients of all ages, focusing on disease prevention, health promotion, and patient education.

Key Details:

• Schedule: Mon-Fri: 10am-7pm; Sunday: 10am-4pm
• EHR System: Athena
• Patient Focus: No pediatric care, GYN, pain medication management, or psych medication management

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive physical assessments
• Diagnose and treat common acute illnesses and injuries
• Manage chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and asthma
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests
• Prescribe medications and treatments
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals for coordinated patient care
• Educate patients on health maintenance and disease prevention

Skills and Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Athenahealth EHR system
• Experience in emergency medicine, clinic, assisted living, urgent care, or senior care settings
• Knowledge of ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding
• Ability to perform phlebotomy
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable administering inhalation therapies
