Full-time Nurse Practitioner in Frederick, Maryland

We're seeking an experienced and skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team in an outpatient facility. Join us Now! Job Type: Full Time

Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM

Compensation: $150,000-$160,000 per year + benefits

Job Duties:

• Conducts comprehensive appraisals of patients' health status by taking health histories and performing physical examinations in clinical areas. Provides direct clinical care to patients
• Prescribes/orders medications, and therapies; orders/interprets laboratory tests, x-rays, and procedures according to clinical privileges
• Evaluates patients to determine their need for further health care
• Provides comprehensive teaching to patients and families
• Documents in the medical record all care and education provided and/or procedures performed for which the Licensed Advanced Practice Provider is responsible
• Maintains certifications and continuing education as required for licensure and privileging
• Provides comprehensive teaching strategies for patients and their families

Requirements:

• Master’s degree from an accredited school/college of nursing
• Current license as a Registered Nurse in the State of Maryland
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
