Nurse Practitioner – Full-Time Opportunity in Auburn, New York

We are seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our healthcare team in New York. In this role, you will provide high-quality primary and specialty care to patients, focusing on health promotion, disease prevention, and chronic condition management. You will collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care.

Job Type: Full-Time

Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM

Compensation: $120,000 – $150,000 per year + benefits

Job Duties:

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history reviews and physical exams.
  • Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions, prescribing medications as appropriate.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans with a focus on preventive healthcare.
  • Perform minor procedures and administer treatments, such as wound care or injections.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including lab work and imaging.
  • Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare team members.
  • Educate patients and families on health management and lifestyle modifications.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Requirements:

  • Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
  • Valid and unrestricted New York State NP license
  • Board certification as an FNP (Family Nurse Practitioner), AGNP (Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner), or ANP (Adult Nurse Practitioner)
  • Previous experience in primary care, family medicine, or a specialty field preferred
  • Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
  • Excellent communication and patient education abilities
  • Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems
