Nurse Practitioner – Full-Time Opportunity in Glenview, Illinois

We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our outpatient clinic in Illinois. In this role, you will provide comprehensive primary and specialty care to patients, collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to deliver exceptional, patient-centered care.

Job Type: Full-Time

Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM

Compensation: $120,000 – $150,000 per year + benefits

Job Duties:

  • Perform comprehensive health assessments, including patient histories, physical exams, and risk evaluations.
  • Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions, such as diabetes, hypertension, and respiratory illnesses.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans, including prescribing medications and recommending lifestyle modifications.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests (e.g., lab work, imaging, and EKGs).
  • Provide preventive care services, including health screenings, immunizations, and wellness counseling.
  • Educate patients on disease prevention, health promotion, and self-management techniques.
  • Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and allied healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and compliant clinical documentation in accordance with HIPAA and facility standards.

Requirements:

  • Active Nurse Practitioner license in Illinois.
  • Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from an accredited program.
  • Board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner (AGNP), or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of clinical experience in outpatient or primary care settings preferred (new graduates with clinical rotations are encouraged to apply).
  • Proficiency in chronic disease management, preventive care, and patient education.
  • Strong diagnostic, clinical, and decision-making skills.
  • Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and medical documentation.
