Nurse Practitioner – Full-Time Opportunity in Green Valley, Arizona

We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Nurse Practitioner-Primary Care. As a Nurse Practitioner, you will provide comprehensive primary and preventive care, manage chronic conditions, and collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to promote optimal patient outcomes. You will have the autonomy to assess, diagnose, and treat patients while contributing to a team-based, collaborative environment.

Job Type: Full-Time

Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM

Compensation: $120,000 – $150,000 per year + benefits

The selected candidate will be responsible to perform daily Nurse Practitioner duties including but not limited to:

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history reviews, physical exams, and diagnostic testing.
  • Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions, such as diabetes, hypertension, respiratory illnesses, and musculoskeletal issues.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including prescribing medications and recommending lifestyle modifications.
  • Provide preventive care services, including health screenings, immunizations, and wellness counseling.
  • Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and allied health professionals to coordinate patient care.
  • Utilize electronic health records (EHR) for accurate and timely documentation of patient encounters, treatment plans, and follow-ups.
  • Educate patients on disease prevention, medication adherence, and self-care strategies.
  • Monitor and adjust treatment plans based on patient progress and response to interventions.
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, maintaining accurate and confidential patient records.

Requirements:

  • Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree.
  • Current and unrestricted Arizona Nurse Practitioner license.
  • Board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), Adult-Gerontology NP (AGNP), or equivalent.
  • Active DEA license and prescriptive authority.
  • Experience in outpatient primary care or chronic disease management preferred.
  • Proficiency in EHR systems and medical documentation.
  • Strong diagnostic, communication, and interpersonal skills with a patient-first mindset.
