Hiring Full-Time Nurse Practitioner
Position: Nurse Practitioner
Location: Genoa, Nevada
Employment Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Salary: $120,000 – $130,000 per year + benefits
About the Role:
We are looking for a professional Nurse Practitioner who can deliver primary medical care to a wide variety of patients. In this role, you will collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional primary and preventive care that enhances the well-being of individuals and families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including detailed medical histories, physical examinations, and diagnostic evaluations.
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions, such as diabetes, hypertension, respiratory disorders, and musculoskeletal issues.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans, including prescribing medications, ordering diagnostic tests, and coordinating specialist referrals.
- Provide preventive care services, including health screenings, vaccinations, and wellness counseling.
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and support staff to ensure seamless, coordinated patient care.
- Utilize evidence-based clinical practices to enhance patient outcomes and quality of life.
- Document patient encounters, treatment plans, and follow-ups accurately in the electronic health record (EHR) system.
- Educate patients on chronic disease management, medication adherence, and healthy lifestyle modifications.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance practice efficiency and patient satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree.
- Active and unrestricted Nevada Nurse Practitioner license.
- Board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), Adult-Gerontology NP (AGNP), or equivalent.
- Active DEA license with prescriptive authority.
- Experience in outpatient primary care, internal medicine, or chronic disease management preferred.
- Proficiency in EHR systems and thorough documentation skills.
- Strong diagnostic, clinical, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to provide empathetic, patient-centered care with a focus on wellness and prevention.
