Employment Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Salary: $120,000 – $130,000 per year + benefits

As part of a growing healthcare system in California, we are looking for an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our team. Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough initial and follow-up assessments, including obtaining detailed medical histories, performing physical exams, and ordering diagnostic tests as appropriate.
  • Diagnose, treat, and manage both acute and chronic conditions in diverse populations while collaborating with physicians for complex cases or specialty consultations. Develop and implement personalized care plans for a wide variety of conditions, such as hypertension, diabetes, asthma, mental health issues, and other common illnesses.
  • Prescribe, adjust, and manage pharmacological therapies within the scope of your practice. Monitor patient responses to medications and adjusted treatments accordingly to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Provide preventive care services, including immunizations, screenings, and counseling on health promotion and lifestyle modification. Offer patient education on managing chronic conditions, disease prevention, and healthy living strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
  • Valid, active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of California
  • Board certification in the appropriate specialty (e.g., Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner (AGNP), Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), etc.
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of clinical experience in a similar setting; however, recent graduates with relevant clinical rotations are also encouraged to apply
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for building trust with patients and working with a healthcare team
