Work Hours: Monday - Friday: 9 AM-5 PM
Compensation: $115,000.00 - $135,000 per year + benefits

As an Urgent Care Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), you will deliver top-quality care to patients with non-life-threatening but urgent medical concerns. You will be the first point of contact for individuals seeking care for acute conditions and will be expected to deliver prompt, evidence-based treatment. Your ability to manage a wide variety of medical conditions and provide compassionate, thorough care will be key to your success in this role.
Job Duties:
- Assess, Diagnose, and Treat: Evaluate patients' conditions, conduct thorough physical exams, and use your clinical expertise to make informed diagnoses. You’ll treat a variety of acute medical conditions, including infections, sprains, minor fractures, and rashes.
- Minor Procedures: Perform minor procedures such as wound care, suturing, and splinting with patient safety and comfort as a top priority.
- Prescribe Medications: Issue prescriptions as needed and provide clear instructions for medication use and follow-up care.
- Health Education: Educate patients on managing their conditions, preventative care practices, and healthy lifestyle choices.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with physicians, medical assistants, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a smooth, efficient workflow and excellent patient outcomes.
- Documentation & Compliance: Maintain detailed and accurate electronic medical records (EMR), ensuring compliance with all regulations and company protocols.
Qualifications:
- Licensure & Certification: A valid Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) license in Maine(or the ability to obtain one). Board certification from AANP or ANCC is required.
- Experience: Experience in urgent care, family medicine, or emergency medicine is a plus, but not mandatory. We welcome new graduates who are eager to grow and develop their skills.
- Clinical Excellence: Strong clinical judgment, diagnostic acumen, and ability to treat a wide range of acute medical conditions.
- Communication & Empathy: Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with patients while providing empathetic care.
- Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, while maintaining attention to detail and patient safety.
