We are currently seeking a Cardiac Nurse Practitioner to join our dynamic team. As a Cardiac Nurse Practitioner, you will play a vital role in diagnosing, treating, and educating patients with heart-related issues. Your expertise and compassionate care will make a significant impact on the lives of our patients.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments on patients presenting with cardiac symptoms or conditions

• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as EKGs, stress tests, and echocardiograms

• Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients, including medication management, lifestyle modifications, and patient education

• Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to establish a multidisciplinary approach to patient care

• Monitor and evaluate treatment effectiveness, adjusting care plans as necessary

• Provide support and counseling to patients and their families regarding cardiac conditions and treatment options

• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in cardiac care and incorporate evidence-based practices into patient treatment

Qualifications

• Licensure must be unencumbered, free of any open/unresolved disciplinary actions including probation or restrictions against the privilege to practice

• Active ANCC or AANP national certification in Family, Geriatrics, Adult, Adult-Gerontology Primary Care, or Adult-Gerontology Acute Care certification, or the ability to obtain national certification and/or NP license in the state of assignment by the start date

• Ability to complete physical requirements of the job including lifting a 30-pound bag in and out of the car, navigating stairs and a variety of dwelling conditions, and sitting, standing, and kneeling to perform a physical assessment

• Experience in gerontology, cardiology, internal medicine, or endocrinology
