Advanced Care Cardiology Medical Clinic is expanding its team and seeking an experienced and dedicated Cardiology Office Nurse Practitioner. Join us in providing top-notch patient care, conducting thorough assessments, interpreting diagnostic tests, managing treatment, and coordinating care. Bring your expertise in team communication, leadership, staff mentoring, program support, and collaboration with physicians to contribute to our growing clinic.


Work Schedule:

  • Full-time position
  • 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with occasional evening clinics until 8:00 p.m.
  • Weekend event participation may be required
  • Average workweek totaling approximately 40 hours


Responsibilities:

As a Cardiology Office Nurse Practitioner, you will:

  • Conduct comprehensive health assessments and screenings for individuals and families in the community.
  • Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions, with a focus on preventive care and health promotion.
  • Collaborate with community organizations and stakeholders to develop and implement health education programs.
  • Provide culturally sensitive care, advocating for patients' rights and access to healthcare.
  • Coordinate referrals and follow-up care to ensure continuity of care for patients.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate medical records in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Participate in community outreach events and health fairs, raising awareness and providing health screenings.
  • Stay updated with community health trends, evidence-based practices, and relevant policies.

The Cardiology Office Practitioner will ensure that:

Requirements:

  • Current certification as a Nurse Practitioner.
  • Active state nursing license.
  • Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience, preferably in community health or public health settings.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
