Nurse Practitioner - Cardiology Needed!

Job Specification:

As a Nurse Practitioner, your duties will involve assessing patients, conducting and interpreting cardiac evaluations, and formulating customized care plans based on your assessments. You will be responsible for prescribing medications, administering treatments, and offering valuable guidance on heart health, including prevention strategies. Maintaining precise and comprehensive medical records will be essential, along with collaborating with a diverse team of healthcare professionals to deliver thorough and coordinated cardiac care.

Job Type: Full-Time

Salary: $150,000 to $160,000 with full benefits

Key Responsibilities Are:

  • Conduct comprehensive cardiovascular assessments and screenings for patients and families within the community.
  • Diagnose and manage both acute and chronic heart conditions, including preventive care and health promotion focused on cardiovascular health.
  • Collaborate with community organizations and stakeholders to create and implement heart health education programs.
  • Provide culturally sensitive cardiac care and advocate for patients’ rights and access to cardiology services.
  • Maintain precise and thorough medical records in compliance with regulatory standards and cardiology best practices.
  • Stay informed about current trends in cardiovascular health, evidence-based practices, and relevant policies to ensure the highest quality of care.

Qualifications We Are Looking For:

  • Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited program
  • Active state nursing license with credentials in Cardiovascular Nursing or related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of clinical experience, ideally in cardiology or cardiovascular health settings, with a background in community or public health being advantageous.
