Job Type: Full-time
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday (10 AM - 7 PM), Sunday (10 AM - 4 PM)
Salary: Up to $175,000 annually, plus benefits

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive physical assessments to evaluate patient health.
• Diagnose and treat common acute illnesses and injuries.
• Manage chronic health conditions, including diabetes, hypertension, and asthma.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests to inform treatment decisions.
• Prescribe medications and treatments based on patient needs.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Educate patients and their families on health maintenance and disease prevention strategies.
• Maintain thorough and accurate medical records using our Athena EHR system.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Proficiency in the Athenahealth electronic health record system.
• Experience in emergency medicine, clinics, assisted living, urgent care, or senior care settings.
• Knowledge of ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding systems.
• Ability to perform phlebotomy procedures.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfort with inhalation therapies.
