Full-time Family Nurse Practitioner Needed
Salary: $150,000 - $175,000 per year plus full benefits
Schedule:
We are currently seeking a Full-time Family Nurse Practitioner who shares our values of compassion and dedication to join our healthcare team and make a meaningful impact in the lives of our patients. Our organization offers a full range of Primary and Specialty care services, focusing on disease prevention, health promotion, and education.
Salary: $150,000 - $175,000 per year plus full benefits
Schedule:
- Mon-Fri 10 AM - 7 PM
- Sunday 10 AM - 4 PM
- (24 – 40 hours per week)
- Conduct comprehensive physical assessments.
- Diagnose and treat common acute illnesses and injuries.
- Manage chronic health conditions, including diabetes, hypertension, and asthma.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests.
- Prescribe medications and treatments.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals for coordinated care.
- Educate patients on health maintenance and disease prevention strategies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited nursing program
- Active New York state Nurse Practitioner license.
- Minimum 2 years experience in experience in emergency medicine, clinics, assisted living, urgent care, or senior care settings.
- NYS NP License, NYS Medicaid, and Medicare numbers required.
- Healthfirst credentialing.
- Proficiency in Athenahealth electronic health record system.
- Knowledge of ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding systems.
- Ability to perform phlebotomy procedures.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
