Full-time Nurse Practitioner Needed at Integrated Health Solutions in Los Angeles, California

Our practice is currently looking for a Primary Care Provider – Nurse Practitioner (NP) to serve as a clinical leader within our practice.

In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality primary care services to our patients, working within an integrated care delivery model to foster the growth of our practice and promote effective teamwork. You will provide clinical supervision and oversight, including conducting clinical reviews and participating in the performance appraisal and hiring or termination process for clinical support staff. Collaborating with an assigned physician in accordance with the state law is also an essential aspect of this position.

Schedule:

  • Full-time, 40-hour work week.
  • No weekend/night shifts

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests.
  • Diagnose and treat acute and chronic health conditions.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as blood work, imaging, and screenings.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments and diagnoses.
  • Prescribe medications, therapies, and medical interventions.
  • Monitor and manage ongoing health conditions, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
  • Provide patient education on health maintenance, disease prevention, and lifestyle modifications.
  • Collaborate with patients to create personalized health goals and plans.
  • Collaborate with physicians, specialists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care.
  • Refer patients to specialists when needed for specialized care.
  • Perform medical procedures and interventions such as suturing, wound care, vaccinations, and biopsies.
  • Administer treatments and therapies, such as injections and IV therapy.
  • Stay informed about the latest medical advancements, research findings, and best practices through continuing education.
  • Participate in research projects and contribute to evidence-based practice.
  • Play a leadership role in healthcare teams, mentor nursing students and colleagues, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from an accredited nursing program.
  • Completion of a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program with a Nurse Practitioner specialization, along with obtaining appropriate NP certification in the chosen specialty (e.g., Family Nurse Practitioner, Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner, Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, etc.).
  • Possession of an active and valid state Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) license.
  • Proficiency in conducting patient assessments, making diagnoses, and providing medical treatment and interventions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare colleagues.
  • Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and healthcare professionals.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to make accurate diagnoses and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Compassion and sensitivity in patient interactions, demonstrating a patient-centered approach to care.
  • Adherence to nursing ethics, patient confidentiality, and professional standards.
  • Precise documentation of patient information, diagnoses, treatment plans, and medications.
  • Ability to provide leadership in healthcare teams and contribute to nursing education and mentorship.

Pay:

$93,600.00 - $140,000 per year
