Full-time NURSE PRACTITIONER (NPs) needed.
As part of this position, you will evaluate, create, and manage programs and services that support high-quality healthcare in an effort to attain the best possible health outcomes at the lowest possible cost while adhering to all applicable state, federal, and alignment policies.
Schedule: Full Time
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and collaborative working relationships with administrative, clinical, and academic personnel
- Skill in working independently and following through with minimum direction
- Ability to set priorities
- Demonstrate writing skills to compose logical, detailed, and grammatically correct correspondence
- Document patient care in a concise and comprehensive manner
- Reports to the Medical Director
- Provides outpatient treatment of mental disorders for students/patients, including evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment
- Working knowledge of other health, mental health and social services agencies in the area-preferred
- Ability to utilize Excel, word, and other software programs
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A compassionate and patient-focused approach
- A current Nurse Practitioner license in California
