Full-time Nurse Practitioner Needed at Wave Internal and Family Medicine in Newark, NJ

As a clinician, your primary responsibility is to provide the highest quality care, aligning with clinical guidelines and our distinctive care plan model. Clinicians report directly to the Medical Director.

Schedule:
Full-time, Monday to Friday

Primary Responsibilities:
As a clinician, you'll take on a diverse range of responsibilities aimed at providing comprehensive care:
  • Conduct well-woman and gynecological visits, diagnose and manage mental health needs, and provide consultations on wellness and healthy living.
  • Ensure fluency and application of clinical guidelines, integrating gynecology, wellness, and behavioral health.
  • Contribute to establishing referral networks in State.
  • Assist in overseeing clinical staff, including care coordinators and clinical support teams.
  • Collaborate closely with care coordinators to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Foster collaborative relationships with behavioral health and counseling partners.
  • Conduct patient visits at approximately 90% capacity.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
  • NP/PA Certification and TX licensure are required.
  • Experience in women's health, including LARC methods.
  • Proficiency in screening, diagnosing, and treating behavioral health conditions.
  • Previous experience working in care teams.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of clinical practice experience.
  • Expertise in adolescent health.
  • Familiarity with electronic clinical systems.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English.

Salary:
$120,000-$180,000 per year based on experience
