Location: Berkeley, California

Job Types: Full-time

Competitive pay and incentives: $160K to $180K a year + benefits

Flexible schedule: Monday-Friday (9 AM – 5 PM)


Are you a skilled Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) who thrives in a collaborative clinical setting? We’re seeking a motivated professional to join our mental health team in a California-based in-office role, where your expertise and empathy will make a lasting impact.


Position Overview:

As a PMHNP, you will be responsible for providing psychiatric assessments, medication management, and ongoing treatment planning for patients experiencing a variety of mental health conditions. You will work closely with licensed therapists, clinical supervisors, and administrative staff to deliver coordinated care in a fully equipped office environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct initial psychiatric evaluations and follow-up visits
  • Diagnose and treat psychiatric conditions such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, and mood disorders
  • Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for holistic patient care
  • Provide patient education and promote medication adherence
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation using EHR systems
  • Participate in case consultations and team meetings


Qualifications:

  • Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) in the state of California
  • Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited program
  • Active and unrestricted California RN and NP licenses
  • Current DEA registration
  • Previous experience in psychiatric care preferred (outpatient experience a plus)
  • Ability to work independently in a clinical setting
    Excellent interpersonal, clinical, and documentation skills
