Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
Location: Alameda, California
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Salary: $160,000 – $180,000/year
Job Summary:
We are hiring a board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive psychiatric services in an outpatient clinical environment. This position involves conducting psychiatric evaluations, managing medication regimens, and supporting patient progress through coordinated care planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic assessments and medication follow-ups
- Create and manage patient-centered treatment plans
- Prescribe medications in alignment with clinical guidelines
- Collaborate with internal and external providers
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation
Qualifications:
- California NP license in good standing
- PMHNP-BC required
- DEA license for controlled substances
- Previous experience in outpatient psychiatry preferred
- Excellent communication and time management skills
