Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
Location: Berkeley, California
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Salary: $160,000 – $180,000/year
Job Summary:
We are hiring a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join a growing outpatient team delivering psychiatric services in a clinic-based environment. This role focuses on providing patient evaluations, medication management, and follow-up care, with access to a supportive, team-oriented infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate new patients and provide follow-up psychiatric care
- Prescribe, monitor, and adjust psychiatric medications
- Contribute to collaborative care plans and treatment reviews
- Coordinate services with behavioral health professionals
- Document patient encounters in accordance with clinical standards
Qualifications:
- Active CA Nurse Practitioner license
- PMHNP-BC certification required
- DEA license
- Experience in outpatient or clinic settings preferred
- Ability to manage caseload independently
