Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
Location: Albany, California
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Salary: $160,000 – $180,000/year
Job Summary:
We are hiring a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to provide direct patient care within an outpatient psychiatric clinic. You’ll be responsible for psychiatric evaluations, treatment planning, and medication oversight as part of an integrated care team focused on mental health outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver psychiatric evaluations and follow-up appointments
- Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications
- Update treatment plans in collaboration with care staff
- Communicate with referring providers and support staff
- Maintain timely and accurate electronic documentation
Qualifications:
- Licensed NP in California
- PMHNP-BC certification
- DEA license
- Background in outpatient settings preferred
- Organized, detail-oriented, and clinically skilled
