Exciting Full-time Nurse Practitioner Pain Management needed at Peace Health Medical PC

We are a full service pain management center that meets the complete needs of our patients and referring physicians with the goal of providing all patients with non-surgical pain reducing care solutions and, when possible, avoiding surgeries. While we have a non-surgical emphasis, we partner with surgical and pain block specialists for patient referral, when necessary.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and diagnose acute and chronic medical conditions
  • Develop and implement treatment plans and order diagnostic tests
  • Prescribe medications and other therapies as needed
  • Educate patients and their families on disease prevention and health promotion
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in healthcare practices and regulations

Requirements:

  • Current certification as a Nurse Practitioner
  • Active state nursing license
  • Master's degree in nursing from an accredited program
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of clinical experience in a relevant specialty
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
