Full-time/Part-time Pediatric Nurse Practitioners Needed at Angel Healthcare in Dallas, TX

We are offering an excellent job opportunity for a part-time or full-time Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to join our well-established Pediatric office.

Our office specializes in offering comprehensive care to children from birth through young adulthood. With in-depth knowledge and experience in pediatric primary health care, we focus on well-child care, prevention, and management of common pediatric acute illnesses and chronic conditions.

We are looking to fill the position as soon as possible, and we can be flexible with the start date. We offer competitive salaries and benefits, along with productivity bonuses. Our doctors enjoy a healthy work-life balance and manageable workload. There are no requirements for c-section attendance.

Schedule:

Monday-Friday

9 am-5 pm

Responsibilities:

  • Provides medical and nursing care to pediatric patients with acute or chronic illnesses, with a patient/family centered care focus.
  • Performs complete or focused physical examinations.
  • Orders, performs, and/or interprets diagnostic or screening tests in order to develop treatment plans.
  • Refers clients to other health care professionals and agencies as appropriate for specialized services, including but not limited to: other medical subspecialists, physical and occupational therapy, nutritional counseling and management, special education, growth and development/behavioral counseling.
  • Develops or approves in-school management plans for patients as appropriate.
  • Makes dietary, activity/exercise, counseling, education and health promotion recommendations within the APRN scope of practice.
  • Initiates any other measure/procedure for which the APRN has been trained depending on patient condition and judgment of the physician and the APRN.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Completion of an Accredited Nurse Practitioner program
  • Have an advanced degree in nursing (MSN or DNP), RN and NP licensure
  • 2 to 4 years of related experience.
  • Current License as Registered Nurse/Nurse Practitioner with the Board of Registered Nursing in the State.
  • Successful completion of an accredited nurse practitioner program of study that conforms to the Board’s educational standards
  • Or current certification by one of the following boards: the American Nurses Credentialing Center or American Academy of Nurse Practitioners or Pediatric Nursing Certification Board or National Certification Corporation for the Obstetric, Gynecologic and Neonatal Nursing Specialties, or the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses.
  • Current AHA BLS certified
  • Current AHA ACLS certified (if submitting privileges for inpatient setting)
  • Ability to communicate effectively.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Interpersonal skills

Salary

$126,000 - $150,000 per year
