Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of employees' health status, including medical history, physical examinations, and health screenings.
- Evaluate and treat work-related injuries and illnesses, and provide appropriate referrals as needed.
- Develop and implement health promotion programs and initiatives to enhance employee wellness.
- Collaborate with employers, human resources, and safety teams to ensure compliance with occupational health regulations and standards.
- Provide education on injury prevention, ergonomics, and health-related topics to employees and management.
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure confidentiality of employee health information.
- Participate in workplace hazard assessments and assist in developing strategies for risk reduction.
- Stay updated on occupational health guidelines, practices, and regulatory requirements.
- Current certification as a Nurse Practitioner.
- Active state nursing license.
- Master's degree in nursing from an accredited program.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of clinical experience, preferably in occupational health or related field.
- Strong knowledge of occupational health regulations and practices.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
