Full-time/Part-time Pediatric Nurse Practitioners Needed at Skill Stride Nurse in Richland, WA.

We are offering an excellent job opportunity for a part-time or full-time Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to join our well-established Pediatric office.

Under the supervision of a Physician, the Pediatric Nurse Practitioner provides comprehensive medical services for members of the family, regardless of age or sex within the scope of training.

Services include Preventative care, immunizations, primary care and treatment, health education, prescribing medications, ordering and interpreting lab testing, physical examinations, STD screenings, vision/hearing, family planning, and nutrition. Incumbents work some evenings and Saturdays as scheduled.

Note: If hired as a floater, the incumbent may travel between all Company sites to provide care.

Schedule:

  • Monday-Friday
  • 9 am-5 pm

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive medical services for patients of all ages, regardless of sex, within the scope of training as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner.
  • Conduct preventive care, administer immunizations, offer primary care and treatment, provide health education, prescribe medications, order and interpret lab testing, perform physical examinations, conduct STD screenings, vision/hearing assessments, family planning, and nutrition counseling.
  • Work under the supervision of a Physician to ensure the delivery of high-quality medical evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment in the area of expertise.
  • Maintain a warm, caring attitude towards patients while representing the best interests of the pediatric office.
  • Work on a part-time or full-time basis, with some evenings and Saturdays scheduled.

If hired as a floater, be willing to travel between all company sites to provide care.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • NP Degree Experience: (Required)
  • Within the scope of training
  • Bilingual English/Spanish
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel (familiarity with medical terminology).
  • EHR- Electronic Health Record (Preferred)
  • PMS- Practice Management System (Preferred)
  • Knowledge of current principles, methods, and procedures for the delivery of medical evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment in the area of expertise
  • Ability to convey a warm, caring attitude for patients while representing the
    the best interest of SJWCFC
  • Employees are responsible for maintaining individual certifications as required by the job
    function or by law and provide Verification and recertification when requested
    by management.

EDUCATION:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Master's: Nursing


CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE:

  • NP-Nurse Practitioner (National certification)
  • BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider
  • Certification required based on the department requirements.

  • 5 years of recent relevant experience.
