Full-time Nurse Practitioner | Urgent Care

Location: New York State

Salary: $150,000 to $160,000

Job Summary:

The Nurse Practitioner will be part of our growing medical professionals. Your primary responsibility will be to provide advanced primary and/or specialty care to our patients. Responsibilities will include but not limited to, performing physical exams, recording patient medical history, creating care plans and administering diagnostic test.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and treat acute, episodic, or chronic illnesses
  • Prescribe all necessary medications and treatments
  • Perform comprehensive physical examinations of patients
  • Develop and implement patient management policies and procedures
  • Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities
  • Communicate with collaborating physician or specialist regarding patient care

Job Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Nurse Practitioner. (NP)
  • Active state Nurse Practitioner license in New York
  • At least 2 years experience in this field.
  • Nationally certified as a Nurse Practitioner with prescriptive authority
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and pharmacology
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with a team, especially in stressful situations
  • Ability to work well with a team
  • Ability to maintain professionalism with patients and teammates

Compensation:

  • Pay rate: $150,000 to $160,000 yearly
