Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) – Urgent Care – full-time opportunity

Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM

Compensation: $180,000.00 - $200,000 per year + benefits

We’re looking for Family Nurse Practitioners (FNPs) to join our growing team, helping us expand our reach and continue offering exceptional care.

As an FNP, you’ll play a pivotal role in providing high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced outpatient setting, performing a variety of tasks with a high degree of autonomy while maintaining a strong sense of collaboration with our team of medical professionals.

Job Duties:

• Assess, diagnose, and treat acute conditions, including illnesses, injuries, and infections for patients of all ages (pediatric through geriatric).
• Perform thorough physical exams and take patient histories to determine treatment plans.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as labs, X-rays, and EKGs to facilitate accurate diagnosis and care.
• Provide in-office minor dermatologic procedures, including biopsy, cryotherapy, and removal of skin lesions.
• Prescribe medications based on patient needs, ensuring compliance with state and federal guidelines.
• Provide patient education regarding treatment options, preventive care, and lifestyle modifications to improve health outcomes.
• Work closely with our physicians, nurse practitioners, medical assistants, and other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated, effective care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all patient interactions within our electronic medical record (EMR) system to ensure quality patient care and legal compliance.

Requirements:

• Active Missouri APRN license with FNP certification
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (AANP or ANCC)
• Minimum 1–2 years of clinical experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, or family medicine
• BLS and ACLS certifications (or the ability to obtain them)
• Strong procedural skills and ability to perform a range of urgent care services independently
• Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment while maintaining a focus on patient care and safety
• Ability to provide care for diverse patient populations and adapt to their specific needs
