Full-time/part-time Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner Needed at Women’s Wellness Clinic in Baytown, TX

Schedule:
The weekly work schedule may include flexible hours, and occasional overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed to provide comprehensive patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide independent advanced-level nurse practitioner clinical expertise to patients and their families on an ongoing basis.
  • Manage chronic stable medical conditions, routine care, acute or critical care, and medical and specialty protocols (e.g., chemotherapy) according to standardized procedures for Obstetrics and Gynecology.
  • Perform non-invasive or invasive procedures, including surgical procedures.
  • Make patient management decisions independently when appropriate, and consult with an attending or other team member when needed.
  • Act as an expert resource for healthcare providers, including nurses, residents, and other ancillary staff.

Qualifications:
  • Graduation with a Master's degree, DNP, or PhD in Nursing from an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Valid RN and Nurse Practitioner licenses without restrictions.
  • Current AHA BLS/CPR Certification.
  • DEA certification within 3 months of hire.
  • Demonstrated skill in patient care with over two years of recent outpatient NP experience in Obstetrics and Gynecology, including triage and experience in clinical quality improvement and performance improvement processes.
  • Judgment skills to effectively meet the needs of patients.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-direction and organizational skills to function in an independent role.
  • Ability to cope with personal stress experienced by team members, other professionals, and caretakers.
  • Ability to perform patient procedures.

Compensation:
$120,000 to $220,000 (based on experience and expertise)
