Full-time/part-time Women’s Health Nurse Practitioners Needed at Medical Facility in Savannah, GA

Oasis OB/GYN Specialists is currently seeking highly skilled and experienced Women's Health Nurse Practitioners to join our dynamic team at our cutting-edge medical facility. You will be providing comprehensive and specialized healthcare services to our female patients.
Your expertise will be instrumental in performing physical examinations, conducting age-appropriate assessments, and collaborating with our team to ensure seamless patient care aligned with established quality indicators. Practices under the standard procedure established for the APN role are consistent with Company policy and in accordance with all legal requirements.
Schedule:
The weekly work schedule may include flexible hours, and occasional overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed to provide comprehensive patient care.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Perform physical examinations and assessments, including history taking and physical examinations, adhering to department protocols.
  • Utilize advanced clinical skills and knowledge to offer specialized women's health services, such as IUD insertions, Nexplanon placements, Colposcopies, Endometrial Biopsies, and Pessaries.
  • Collaborate with supervising physicians and other clinicians to provide optimal patient care and consult on complex cases.
  • Advocate for patients and their families, considering their physiologic, psychosocial, cultural, spiritual, and cognitive needs.
  • Participate in the coordination of patient care, maintaining effective working relationships with the healthcare team.
  • Review medical records for follow-up and diagnostic study orders under established protocols.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in using computer systems and telecommunication modalities for documentation, tracking, and communication purposes.
  • Apply safety principles and legal knowledge, including patient confidentiality and risk management, throughout patient care and unit functioning.
  • Remain composed and efficient in emergency situations, adhering to established protocols and promptly notifying appropriate personnel.
  • Embrace a service-oriented philosophy in all interactions with patients, families, and colleagues, ensuring the highest standard of care.
Qualifications:
  • Active, unrestricted New Jersey APN License, CDS & DEA.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Women’s Health APN.
  • Eligible to participate in state programs including but not limited to Medicare and Medicaid.
Salary:
$120,000 to $220,000 (based on experience and expertise)
