Full-time and Part-time Occupational Therapists Needed at Dynamic Occupational Therapy in Boston, MA.

We are looking for an energetic and results-driven Occupational Therapist to join our team in a clinical setting. You will be providing therapeutic and holistic care for our patients along with coverage for the inpatient divisions. Experienced OTs and new graduates are welcome to apply.

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed

Job Type:

Full-time/Part-time

Responsibilities:

  • Providing occupational therapy treatment for patients suffering from injuries, or muscle, nerve, joint and bone diseases, restoring function, relieving pain, and preventing debility
  • Maintaining superior clinical care quality and patient and physician satisfaction
  • Achieving patient care time targets, with a general target of 75%+ minimum individual patient care time (unadjusted) in the inpatient setting
  • Understanding and operating according to underlying goals of inpatient acute operating environment, optimizing length of stay - preparing the patient for transition to a longer-term setting in an efficient and safe manner
  • Collaborating with other therapists within care pathways as necessary
  • Maintaining excellent individual compliance standards including relevant and completing documentation for reference of discharges planning, capturing of patient care time, and performing other quality assurance activities as directed
  • Delivering care as broadly specified within applicable state practice act

Qualifications:

  • Have a Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Have the required state licensure, certification, and registration that is in good standing with the state or the ability to obtain the required state licensure
  • Provide a CPR/AED/BLS (basic life support) certification or have the ability to obtain it prior to start of employment; maintain and provide proof of current certification(s)
  • Have some advanced education, training, or certification is a bonus (neuro care, sports medicine, etc.)
  • Have the ability to stand, walk, and sit throughout the entire assigned shift
  • Have a high degree of professionalism in both written and verbal communication
  • Have strong computer skills, including proficiency with databases and with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Have the ability to work both independently and in a team environment, without constant supervision
  • Be able to maintain confidentiality

Salary:

$75k - $100,000 per year
