Full-time and Part-time Occupational Therapists Needed at Motion Matrix Therapeutics in Greenwich, CT

You will have the opportunity to participate in our multidisciplinary comprehensive evaluations for children at risk for autism spectrum disorder. We offer an intimate environment while affording you the opportunity to be a member of a large and diverse occupational therapy team.

CORE JOB FUNCTIONS
- Performs evaluation on new patients, establishes goals, and develops appropriate treatment plans.
- Documents all evaluations, treatments, and other pertinent patient interactions.
- Provides relevant education to patients and families regarding the patient’s condition.
- Develops and maintains effective communication with all members of the rehabilitation team.
- Communicates with physicians and their staff, obtains necessary information, and suggests revisions in treatment.
- Participates in quality and safety improvement activities, and orients, instructs, and directs work activities for assistants and support personnel.
- Supervises and instructs physical therapy students and provides or participates in educational programs for staff, patients, and the community at large.
- Participates in program development and marketing efforts.
- Pursues professional growth actively through affiliation with professional occupational therapy associations, and workshop and conference attendance.
- Adheres to University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguards University assets.
CORE QUALIFICATIONS
Certification and Licensing:
Licensure in Occupational Therapy
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field
Knowledge, Skills and Attitudes:
- Skill in completing assignments accurately and with attention to detail.
- Ability to analyze, organize and prioritize work under pressure while meeting deadlines.
- Ability to process and handle confidential information with discretion.
- Ability to work evenings, nights, and weekends as necessary.
- Commitment to the University’s core values.
- Ability to work independently and/or in a collaborative environment.
Salary:
Our starting salary for Occupational Therapists is $70,000 - $90,000 per year
