We provide comprehensive and compassionate healthcare services to our community. As an Occupational Therapist, you will be an integral part of our interdisciplinary team, working closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver patient-centered care.

Work Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
  • Occasional flexibility may be required to accommodate patient needs and scheduling preferences.
  • Some evening or weekend hours may be scheduled to meet the needs of patients who are unable to attend therapy during regular business hours.

Salary:

$70,000 to $90,000 per year

Job Duties:

  • Perform thorough evaluations to assess patients' functional abilities, identify limitations, and establish individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide evidence-based occupational therapy interventions to enhance patients' physical, cognitive, and psychosocial skills.
  • Collaborate with patients, their families, and caregivers to set meaningful goals and develop strategies to achieve them.
  • Design and implement therapeutic activities and exercises to improve patients' motor skills, coordination, balance, and endurance.
  • Utilize adaptive equipment and assistive technology to promote independence and facilitate activities of daily living.
  • Educate patients and their families on techniques for managing pain, conserving energy, and preventing further disability.
  • Document patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes accurately and timely in accordance with regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and holistic patient care.
  • Stay updated with advancements in occupational therapy through continuing education and professional development activities.
  • Comply with legal and ethical standards, maintaining patient confidentiality and advocating for their rights.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current and valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
  • CPR certification.
  • Experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in rehabilitation or acute care.
  • Strong knowledge of occupational therapy principles, assessments, and interventions.
  • Proficiency in conducting evaluations and developing individualized treatment plans.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to help individuals reach their full potential.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a diverse caseload.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
