Our healthcare organization is seeking skilled Occupational Therapists to join our team. In this role, you will help patients recover and improve their abilities to perform daily living and work-related tasks. You'll work with patients who have a variety of conditions, including neurological, musculoskeletal, and developmental disorders.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess patients' physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities
  • Develop personalized treatment plans to help patients achieve their goals
  • Teach patients new ways to perform daily living and work-related tasks
  • Use adaptive equipment and devices to improve patients' functioning
  • Monitor and record patients' progress
  • Communicate regularly with other healthcare professionals involved in patients' care
  • Provide education to patients and their families

Requirements:

  • Degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Active state license as an Occupational Therapist
  • Certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
  • Knowledge of relevant treatment techniques and adaptive equipment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience working with patients in a healthcare setting is preferred, but not required

Salary:

Our starting salary for Occupational Therapists is $75,000 per year, with opportunities for advancement and performance-based raises.
