Looking For Full Time Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) in Amazing Care Home Healthcare Clinic

Join our team of compassionate healthcare professionals as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) and help make a positive difference in the lives of our patients. We are looking for a dedicated and skilled COTA to work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary healthcare team to provide the highest quality care and support to our patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Occupational Therapists to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.
  • Provide hands-on assistance to patients with therapeutic activities, exercises, and daily living tasks to promote strength, mobility, and independence.
  • Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans accordingly, and report observations to the treating Occupational Therapist.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress and communicate effectively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and strategies to facilitate long-term recovery and independent living.
  • Adhere to ethical and legal guidelines, maintain confidentiality, and ensure patient safety at all times.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Active certification and licensure as a COTA in the applicable state.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals and patients.
  • A caring and empathetic approach to patient care with a focus on promoting independence and quality of life.
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to maintain accurate documentation, and follow ethical and legal guidelines.
  • Familiarity with therapeutic equipment and techniques, including assistive technology, adaptive equipment, and therapeutic exercises.
