Position Overview: We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for working with the elderly and a commitment to enhancing their independence and overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of residents' physical, cognitive, and emotional needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to help residents achieve their goals.
  • Utilize therapeutic techniques and activities to improve residents' functional abilities.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to provide holistic care.
  • Document progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Educate residents, families, and caregivers on strategies to support ongoing therapy and rehabilitation.
  • Maintain compliance with all regulatory and professional standards.

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) in the state of California.
  • Bachelor's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Experience in a skilled nursing facility is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and education.
