Full-Time Occupational Therapist Opportunity
Join our team of healthcare professionals in Beaverton, OR, and take on a pivotal role in enhancing the lives of residents at our Assisted Living Facility. This full-time Occupational Therapist position provides a rewarding opportunity to help residents recover from injuries, illnesses, or disabilities and support their journey toward greater independence.
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM
Patient Volume: Around 7 patients per day (35 patient visits per week)
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform detailed assessments of residents' physical, cognitive, and emotional well-being using a variety of standardized tools to identify areas of functional limitations.
- Create and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to assessment outcomes, resident goals, and physician input.
- Provide targeted interventions, including therapeutic exercises, ADL training, cognitive enhancement, and environmental adjustments to aid in recovery.
- Track and document residents' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize results.
- Keep up to date with the latest occupational therapy techniques and adhere to all regulatory requirements.
Salary: $80,000 - $90,000 a year.
Requirements:
- Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current license to practice as an Occupational Therapist in Oregon State.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a skilled nursing facility.
- Knowledge of current occupational therapy practice standards and regulations.
- Proficient in using electronic medical records and other healthcare software.
