Full-Time Occupational Therapist Opportunity in Astoria, Oregon

Position Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated Occupational Therapist to deliver personalized therapy that empowers patients to lead more independent and fulfilling lives. You’ll work alongside residents, families, and a multidisciplinary team to offer tailored interventions that align with each patient's needs.

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM

Patient Volume: 7 patients per day (35 visits per week)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform thorough assessments to evaluate residents’ physical, cognitive, and emotional health using established tools.
  • Create and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessments, patient goals, and physician input.
  • Provide specialized interventions, including therapeutic exercises, ADL training, cognitive support, and environmental modifications.
  • Track and document patient progress, adjusting plans as needed to achieve the best possible outcomes.
  • Stay current with advancements in occupational therapy practices while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.

Compensation: $80,000 – $90,000 per year

Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • Active Occupational Therapist license in Oregon.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting, ideally within a skilled nursing facility.
  • Deep knowledge of contemporary occupational therapy practices and regulations.
  • Comfort with electronic medical records and healthcare software.
