Now Hiring: Occupational Therapist (OT) in Yelm, Washington

We have an open position for an Occupational Therapist! If you are a skilled Occupational Therapist (OT) and have a background in providing care in an outpatient practice, join our team now. You will be responsible for providing patients with treatment to help them develop and improve their ability to complete everyday tasks related to their job and daily life.

Job Type: Full Time

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM

Compensation: $80,000 – $100,000 per year + benefits

Patient Volume: 1-2 patients per hour

Job Duties:

  • Maintain thorough and accurate assessment and therapy-related documentation
  • Collaborate with other specialty providers to establish an Integrated Treatment Plan
  • Conduct ongoing assessments of patient progress
  • Involve and advise family members when appropriate
  • Refer patients to outside specialists or agencies when necessary
  • Navigate electronic medical record systems efficiently and complete all necessary clinical documentation accurately and in a timely manner
  • Attend and actively contribute to regular team meetings, providing valuable input on clinical and administrative matters
  • Stay current with advances in technology and healthcare through ongoing professional development and continuing education
  • Demonstrate a commitment to innovation, intrinsic motivation, building relationships, and exploring creative means of evaluation
  • Perform other clinical-related activities as assigned

Requirements:

  • Current Occupational therapy licensure in good standing
  • Master’s degree or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university
  • Experience providing occupational therapy services to clients, preferably in an orthopedic outpatient setting
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality according to HIPAA regulations
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Open to professional and clinical feedback and interested in working in a supportive and collegial clinical environment
  • Ability to show initiative, good judgment, and resourcefulness
