Full-Time Occupational Therapist – Assisted Living Facility (Klamath Falls, Oregon)

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our care team at an Assisted Living Facility. In this full-time role, you will work directly with senior residents to improve their functional abilities, enhance daily living skills, and promote independence. You will collaborate with caregivers and medical staff to develop personalized treatment plans that enhance mobility, safety, and overall well-being.

Job Type: Full-Time/Part-Time

Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM

Compensation: $110,000 - $125,000 per year + benefits (Full-Time)

What You’ll Do:

  • Perform comprehensive evaluations to assess residents' physical, cognitive, and functional abilities.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to enhance daily living skills, mobility, and independence.
  • Use therapeutic interventions, such as adaptive techniques, assistive devices, and functional activities.
  • Assist residents in regaining strength, coordination, and dexterity to perform everyday tasks.
  • Educate residents and caregivers on safe mobility practices, fall prevention, and adaptive strategies.
  • Monitor and document resident progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with nurses, physical therapists, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.

What Makes You a Great Fit:

  • Master’s degree or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Active Oregon Occupational Therapist license.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in geriatric, rehabilitation, or assisted living settings preferred.
  • Proficiency in ADL (Activities of Daily Living) training, mobility therapy, and cognitive rehabilitation.
  • Strong communication and patient-centered care skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
  • Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and clinical documentation standards.
