Occupational Therapy (OT) – Orthopedic Outpatient

Position: Occupational Therapy (OT)

Location: Palm City, Florida

Employment Type: Full-Time / Part-Time

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM

Compensation: $55,000 to $60,000 + benefits

Position Overview:

We are seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our dynamic outpatient team. The OT will be responsible for evaluating, planning, and implementing individualized treatment programs to help patients regain functional independence and improve their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patients’ physical, cognitive, and functional abilities.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans targeting orthopedic and neuromuscular conditions.
  • Utilize manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and functional activities to promote mobility and independence.
  • Incorporate adaptive equipment and assistive devices into treatment plans when necessary.
  • Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and strategies for continued recovery.
  • Collaborate with physical therapists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with clinic standards and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Education: Master’s or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Licensure: Active and valid OT license in Florida.
  • Experience: Previous experience in an orthopedic outpatient or rehab setting is preferred.
  • Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and functional rehabilitation strategies.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
