Location: Chantilly, Virginia

Employment Type: Full-Time / Part-Time

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM

Compensation: $60,000 to $80,000 + benefits

Position Overview:

We’re looking for a dedicated Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our collaborative care team and support our mission to deliver exceptional rehab outcomes.

As a PTA, you’ll work under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to carry out treatment plans, assist with patient education, and support our clinic’s workflow. This is a great opportunity for a motivated assistant looking to build strong clinical skills in orthopedics while working in a supportive and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer therapeutic exercises, modalities, and manual techniques per the physical therapist’s plan of care
  • Observe and report patient progress, challenges, and any changes in condition to the PT
  • Assist with patient documentation in our electronic health record (EHR) system
  • Educate patients on exercise technique, safety, and home programs
  • Maintain a clean and organized clinic space
  • Work collaboratively with PTs and support staff to ensure excellent patient care and flow

Requirements:

  • Active Physical Therapist Assistant license in the state of Virginia (required)
  • Associate degree from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
  • Current CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Passion for helping people recover and improve their quality of life
  • Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
  • Prior experience in outpatient orthopedics (new grads welcome with strong clinical rotations!)
  • Familiarity with rehabilitation protocols for post-op knees, shoulders, and spine
  • Experience using EMR systems
  • Interest in manual therapy, sports medicine, or fitness training
