Now Hiring: Occupational Therapist (OT) – Orthopedic Outpatient Clinic

Position Overview:
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team and provide individualized rehabilitation to patients recovering from orthopedic procedures and conditions.
As an OT in our clinic, you will work with patients of all ages who have orthopedic injuries or conditions that affect their ability to perform daily activities. Whether it’s recovering from a joint replacement, trauma, or other musculoskeletal injuries, you’ll help patients regain their independence and improve their overall function, with a special focus on the upper body, fine motor skills, and daily living activities.
Salary: $80,000-$90,000 per year + benefits
Work Hours: Monday - Friday (9 AM – 5 PM)
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical, cognitive, and emotional functioning as it relates to their ability to engage in daily living activities.
- Identify orthopedic conditions and impairments that affect fine motor skills, strength, range of motion, and functional mobility.
- Establish individualized treatment plans based on assessment results, patient goals, and physician recommendations.
- Provide hands-on therapy to help patients regain strength, coordination, and functional independence following surgeries and injuries (e.g., joint replacements, fractures, tendon repairs).
- Use therapeutic exercises, adaptive techniques, and assistive devices to facilitate independence in activities of daily living (ADLs) such as dressing, bathing, cooking, and mobility.
- Educate patients on proper body mechanics, injury prevention, and ergonomic strategies for home, work, and recreational activities.
- Collaborate with physical therapists, orthopedic surgeons, nursing, and other healthcare providers to develop and implement comprehensive, patient-centered rehabilitation plans.
- Provide guidance on home exercise programs and other interventions to continue improving mobility and function outside the clinic.
Requirements:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Valid and active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in the state of Oregon
- 1+ years of experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting preferred.
- Experience working with orthopedic conditions, musculoskeletal rehabilitation, or post-surgical recovery is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of orthopedic rehabilitation techniques and therapeutic interventions for musculoskeletal disorders
