Occupational Therapist (OT) – Outpatient Clinic | Bridgeport, Connecticut
Employment Type: Full-Time / Part-Time
Schedule: Monday to Friday (9 AM – 5 PM)
Compensation: $85,000 to $95,000 + benefits

Position Overview:

We serve a wide range of individuals, from those recovering from orthopedic injuries and neurological events to adults needing hand therapy or cognitive retraining. Our interdisciplinary team of OTs, PTs, PTAs, and SLPs work together to create customized care experiences that truly make a difference.

We’re looking for a compassionate, motivated, and skilled Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our dynamic outpatient team. You’ll play a critical role in helping patients restore function, improve safety, and build the confidence they need to thrive in daily life.

Who are we looking for?

  • Master’s or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Active Connecticut OT License (or eligibility to obtain).
  • Strong clinical reasoning and interpersonal communication skills.
  • A passion for helping people live fuller, more independent lives.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team.
  • Bonus: Experience with hand therapy, neuro rehab, or sensory integration is a plus!

What you will do:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide therapeutic interventions to improve ADLs, upper extremity function, cognition, and mobility.
  • Deliver evidence-based treatment for patients with orthopedic, neurological, and post-surgical needs.
  • Educate patients and families on safety, adaptive techniques, and home programs.
  • Collaborate with other clinicians to provide holistic, coordinated care.
  • Accurately document patient progress using EMR and maintain compliance with state and clinic policies
