Job Title: Orthopedic Occupational Therapist (OT) – Sparks, Nevada
Employment Type: Full-Time / Part-Time
Schedule: Monday to Friday (9 AM – 5 PM)
Compensation: $85,000 to $95,000 + benefits

As an Orthopedic OT, you'll play a critical role in helping patients regain the strength, coordination, and independence needed for daily living and work-related tasks. You’ll work one-on-one with patients through all phases of rehabilitation, using creative and functional strategies to maximize outcomes.
Who are we looking for?
- Master’s or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current Occupational Therapy license in the State of Nevada (or ability to obtain prior to start).
- BLS certification required; CHT (Certified Hand Therapist) is a plus, but not required.
- Preferably 1+ years of experience in an outpatient orthopedic or upper extremity-focused setting, though new grads with clinical rotations in orthopedics are welcome to apply!
- Passionate about helping clients meet functional goals that matter in real life
- Pediatric, neuro, or hand therapy experience is a plus, but not required

What will you do?
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients with orthopedic injuries (upper extremity focus preferred) to determine therapy needs and establish treatment goals.
- Design and implement individualized therapy plans targeting ADLs (activities of daily living), upper limb function, pain reduction, strength, range of motion, and sensory integration.
- Provide manual therapy, therapeutic activities, neuromuscular re-education, splinting/fabrication (if applicable), and modalities as appropriate.
- Teach patients and families adaptive techniques, proper body mechanics, and at-home exercise programs to support long-term success.
- Maintain clear, timely, and accurate patient records, ensuring ongoing evaluation and adjustment of treatment goals.
- Work closely with physical therapists, orthopedic surgeons, case managers, and support staff to create a seamless care experience.
