Job Title: Occupational Therapist – Outpatient Setting (Texas)
Salary Range: $80,000 – $90,000 per year
Location: Darien, Connecticut
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM

This role offers the chance to work with a diverse patient population, providing personalized care that promotes functional independence and overall well-being. You will play a pivotal role in assessing, developing, and implementing treatment plans to help patients overcome physical, cognitive, and emotional challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement selected components of care and interventions in a technically competent manner.
- Instruct and counsel patients effectively in exercises and therapeutic activities.
- Monitor patient progress and report findings to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
- Complete accurate and timely documentation of patient treatments, progress, and outcomes.
- Maintain and organize treatment areas and equipment to ensure a safe and efficient environment.
- Coordinate with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Educate patients and families about home exercise programs and self-care strategies.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program; Associate's degree required.
- Current Occupational Therapy Assistant licensure in the state of Connecticut.
- Previous experience in an outpatient setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
