Job Title: Occupational Therapist (OT) – Outpatient Setting

Salary Range: $60,000 – $75,000 per year

Location: Belton, Missouri

Job Type: Full-Time

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM

As an Occupational Therapist in our outpatient clinic, you will provide individualized therapy services to help patients improve their ability to perform daily activities. You will evaluate, develop, and implement personalized treatment plans for patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or managing chronic conditions. This is an ideal role for someone passionate about rehabilitation and making a positive impact on the lives of others.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate patients’ functional abilities, including mobility, strength, coordination, and cognitive skills.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans that address the specific needs and goals of each patient.
  • Provide hands-on therapy to patients, focusing on improving their ability to perform activities of daily living (ADLs), including dressing, bathing, cooking, and more.
  • Work closely with patients to improve fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and cognitive abilities.
  • Educate patients and families on techniques, exercises, and lifestyle adjustments to enhance recovery and maintain independence.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, physical therapists, and speech therapists, to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve the best possible outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current Missouri state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) preferred.
  • Experience in an outpatient setting is preferred but not required.
  • Strong knowledge of occupational therapy techniques and modalities for a wide range of conditions.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
