Position Title: Occupational Therapist (OT) – Assisted Living Facility

Salary Range: $80,000 – $90,000 per year

Location: Portland, Oregon

Job Type: Full-Time

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized occupational therapy treatment plans designed to maximize residents’ independence and quality of life.
  • Assess and treat a wide range of conditions, including cognitive, physical, and emotional challenges that affect daily living skills.
  • Provide training on adaptive equipment, assistive technology, and techniques for enhancing mobility and safety.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care and achieve resident-centered goals.
  • Educate families and caregivers on strategies to promote independence and safety at home.
  • Advocate for residents and support their personal goals through compassionate, patient-centered care.

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) in Oregon (or eligible for licensure)
  • A compassionate and patient-centered individual with a passion for geriatric care
  • Skilled in adapting therapy approaches to meet the unique needs of each resident
  • Comfortable working with individuals who have a variety of cognitive, physical, and emotional challenges
  • Strong communicator and collaborator, able to work effectively with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams
